Eleven years ago, Daughter-units Alpha and Beta came kickin' and screamin' into Real Life® -- starting that rollercoaster rollin' at 3am. I plan on reminding them of this at the appropriate time. Happy birthday to both and many more!

This hurricane is scary! Heck - we've been getting feeder bands all day - mostly wind - but pretty heavy even this far away. This storm is ver scary. My prayers are with all those who live in its path.

I went to maine for almost 2 weeks for my aunts 3rd wedding and I stayed with my brother for a week. I LOVE maine.. He lives about 15 minutes from the ocean but we never made it over to it because there was 5 kids and 3 adults and his car only seats 4! Anyway it was great
