I am so digusted at the governments handling of this!  It shouldn't take
this many days to get at least water to those folks!  I've heard reporters
comparing this to September 11, we'll IMNSHO it's far worse...It's our own
government letting these people die.  When the Tsunami ...

We just adopted another Lhasa Apso (VERY cute 2 yo M)  He has no name :(
The shelter had no info on him.  He was sent there from the city pound (2
hrs from the needle) because a worker there thought he was just too nice of

Threatens the east Florida coast, at the moment.  The projected track has
changed significantly overnight, as the storm has increased from a
depression to a tropical storm.  Reminds me a bit of Jeanne, last year, but

Has it really been a full six days since I did battle with OU?
Well...here we go again, sigh. Now they're refusing to let me sign up
for new courses...
I get an income-based discount on the course fee and because of that I

This afternoon I started receiving the latest hurrican updates from the
sservice we get at work.  TD 16 is on the same course as Katrina when it
first developed.   I haven't seen the whole US outlook - but I do hope this
one does something different and spares the whole northern ...

He just called, and they're in Mississippi.  They're driving a convoy
of fuel tankers to the Gulf Coast to supply rescue operations.
He was afraid I might have seen a news report about it, so he called
to tell me he was okay..... but a previous convoy had one of their

Ok last night as I tried to sleep my eyes hurt.  Even with them closed. If I
put pressure on them with my fingers they felt better.  I was UP ALL NIGHT
last night...I am so exhausted today!
