Katherine gave out invitations on tuesday to her party for 3 weeks time. All 9 invitees have already replied with a yes. Surely this must be a record??? Usually we dont find out half of them until practically on the day.

:((( There is a major tunnel construction project going on about a 20 minute walk from my house. Overnight, a great big 10m deep hole has opened up under a block of apartments. Tg, the residents were safely evacuated.

given halloween falls on a public holiday here in melbourne, by chance, and also the start of daylight saving and some nice weather, there was an unusual amount of kids out trick or treating. we had two groups, one of about 3 kids and one of about 12 or so.

I didn't realize exactly that's what 3 or 4 6/7 yo boys are..!! he had a birthday sleepover last night and - don't know about him but I'm exhausted and we've got flowers and chocs for the neighbors to apologize for the noise.. Eep
