Because I'm restricted to lifting no more than 15 pounds, A has gone
to daycare during the day.  I'm sure she'll love it, as she's a very
social child.
But I miss her :-(

After extensive poking and prodding and scanning and whatnot, I'm
finally home :-)
Still sore, and sitting at the PC is uncomfortable, but I"ll be back

although is getting bored of being sliced and diced so much...

There is always a lot of mud around this area as the seaons move from
the shiny magnificence of winter's snow and ice to the lushness of
spring.  It is especially bad for us in our new house with no
landscaping yet in place.  My house is an island in a sea of mud.  It

Anyone have experience with a gifted child and public school vs. private
school/gifted school?
DS is finishing at the school for gifted preschool children this year and I
can't afford the gifted K-9 school ($10k year) I am planning on sending him

We had about ten to twenty cm new snow since yesterday morning. *sigh*

Can anyone tell me if it is " normal" to  still have to rock my 13
month old to sleep for his daily naps? He goes to bed  on his  own at
night, but in the day, he wont fall asleep unless i rock him. I hav
elet him stay in his bed for an  hour  or so  before, and he still
