I'm sitting on my living room floor, getting a sore derrierre, because I sat here to grade 4 chemistry tests for YS, and one of the two new additions to our menagerie decided he needed to snuggle onto my lap. He's approximately 10 days old.

Well, I saw my own doctor today. Unfortunately I'm turning from Mrs Spotty to Mrs really-rather-covered. My back and tummy are particularly bad. Results of the swab were mainly strep but also some staph so no wonder its flared. Anyway she aknowledged that it was beyond treatment

Does the color on an emu egg go all the way through the shell or is it just surface? The shell is not smooth. Can it be sanded to smooth it out? I have a shell that I could be decorating but I don't like its slight
