How many chicks would a family of 4-6 need for eggs AND meat for a year and
what is the general cost of feed.  My friend Deb was saying she pays 2500$
for feed 100 chicks yearly that is 50 layers and 50 Heavies for laying.

On Friday evening I was feeling too tired to do anything useful, but it
was too early to go to bed.   Sarah's encouragement to go ahead and try
