For anyone who works with vision-impaired students23 May 2006 00:52 GMT1
There is a discussion going on about creating a newsgroup
called soc.support.vision-impaired.  If it is created, it's charter
says it will be for the support of vision-impaired or those who
work with the vision-impaired.  If anyone is interested in the

ok.  i've been living with one arm for nearly two weeks.  not only that, but
the one arm is not my dominant one [but it might end up as it!]  in this
amount of time I have developed a load of respect for those who function
effectively with less than the usual compliment of limbs.  ...
The Doctor [who]22 May 2006 20:26 GMT8
so, we've finished enjoying watching the fittest season of the newest Dr.
Who.  Hubby introduced me to the program when we were newlyweds and I really
liked them, particularly the ones with the most recent Dr.  We have decided
that Mr. Eckelston does a good job, although this newest ...
When would you send back to school?22 May 2006 18:36 GMT4
We were told we could send K back to school when she is feeling well

Did something a bit stupid and downloaded some 'free' ftp software a
little while ago. Only it came with a hidden very annoying package of
popup adverts. I dont normally have trouble with these - almost all are
picked up and blocked by netscape. I've run adaware and spybot and ...

DD10 is performing as part of a large schools choir at THE Opera house

hours of choral work of course.

Eczema22 May 2006 12:02 GMT13
A has a spot on each cheek, that the Dr says is eczema.  He's given me
an Rx for Elidel cream, but in reading the possible side
effects/warning label, I'm thinking I'd like to try something else.
Anyone have any ideas?  Anything that worked for you?
minor bad mummy moment22 May 2006 08:30 GMT14
I'm feeling a little guilty. I didnt take Katherine to the doctors on

ever since developing rosy colored spectacles reading Walter farley's black
stallion books as a child I have kept up to some extent with horse racing.
I know that not all is right with how race horses are treated, but a good
horse race is poetry in motion to me.  so, I am very sad ...
