School's out for summer!

Due to water damage we are going to have to have the floor in our bathroom
completely replaced.  The floor is going to have to be ripped out to the
beams, rebuilt and retiled.  This kind of sucks as I just re did the
bathroom, paint, floor tile about a year ago.

Poor DD managed to fall forward from the couch and whack her face on the
table. DH was saying "oh no - she's bleeding, get something - do something"
So I see all this blood on her face and he says "her eye is bleeding"
Well- I *LOST* it - never did before - I was shrieking and ...

My family loves your rec. for beef stew.  This month I'm going to give the
"Once a Month" cooking plan a try so DH will be able to serve healthy meals
while I'm at school.  (This will be our trial month w/ OAMC, I'll start
school in the fall.)

Yay! Just got home from a meeting and I drove there and back by myself
(all of 5 mins each way but I've got to start somewhere) :) Got teased a
bit lol!! First drive in the dark too.
Yay me!!

Geez ... 10 inches of rain yesterday ... it doesn't look like it's going to
be much better today.  We have a lot of flooding (I live on high ground so I
don't have to worry about my home.) and many streets are closed.
Yesterday while driving I saw the top of a street pole on fire. ...

Katherine has been utterly desperate to be able to whistle but somehow
never got the hang of it.
