I've been told i don't need any more driving lessons - yay!!! My last
lesson today went really well. He said I should have the confidence to
drive anywhere in the country now.

a new computer and then a virus within a week.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Been reading the posts but have had no beads of wisdom to share, so I have
been keeping my mouth shut.

We are trying out the tent in our yard tonite - The wee fella is very
keen on the idea and it should be good fun I hope - we're all gonna
sleep out there tonite I think  - it's v. hot so it'll be nice

It's 1 year today since Dad passed away
Mum is in hospital, as some here know, having had surgery.
It was a very bizarre feeling to be sitting at Mum's beside the same days
this year as I was at Dad's bedside last year.

Well, my plans for the day were dashed when the radar insisted that rain
would be the order of the day.  no lawn mowing, no gardening, no trimming
way out of control lilacs into something closer to what I think is a
reasonable size for those lovely bushes.  sigh.  and on top of that ...

My dd's swim team got first place today.  Inspite of some mistakes,
frustrations of a couple swimmers getting hurt, a few not showing up for
the meet they did it.  These kids worked so hard and we are so proud.
