Whats for dinner/tea ?12 Jul 2006 04:32 GMT33
K had dinner at a friends house. We seem to have become over run with
lettuces so I made lettuce soup for the first time (quite yum really)
and some garlic croutons (note to oneself - next time make herby
croutons as garlic is too strong for lettuce soup)

Henrietta K Thomas.  Encourage folks you know who might be interested in the
formation of the group to vocalize their support on news ...

Hi moms and dads -
My 5 year old son is a bright kid and likes to play board games and the
like. Lately he's only wanted to play "Payday" then today I turned him on to
"Monopoly". He was really into it but we had to cut it short after DD3 woke

all this respect showing at work and then he comes home to his loving son
who is talking up a storm and the minute he sees jeff he yells out Momma.
Everyone is Momma... I did get him to say daddy the other day but I am

My now 6yo sister (can you believe it?) is going to have her tonsils and
adenoids removed this Thursday.
It has all sort of been a whirlwind in that she had her physical last

Not going to hold my breath11 Jul 2006 10:39 GMT2
I'm not going to hold my breath for getting this parent governor
position I'm after. We all (all the parents) got our voting papers today
and I discovered there are 3 other candidates after the same post. We
all had to write election statements that went on the papers.  At least

a day at the Faire11 Jul 2006 02:54 GMT7
We just got in from a 'day' at the Faire, the Renaissance Faire.  None of us
had been to one before and had little idea of what to expect other than
folks walking around in period dress.  Well, there were.  There was,
however, more than that.
where will we put it all!10 Jul 2006 23:22 GMT11
One thing has led to another, which is often how things seem to happen
around here.  I started when we noticed that some of the lower branches in
our maple were not particularly healthy, and then there was this huge sucker
on the norwegian pine [a thirty-five footer at least] so we ...
