This is so tiny compared to everything else, but if you have some spare good

Kate - if you are in the direct path of the storm thats coming over
night then take care!!! There have been max gusts of 115mph over Spain
and its still looks like it could be deepening. I think the SW of
england /Ireland is going to get the worst of it. Looks like it could be

just enjoying life.  A subdued day.  Got a few boxes unpacked.  Making
some catfish for dinner with rice and succotash.  My kids are happy.  We
love it here.  To name a few things. It's a "greatful" day.

Just got a call tonight.  Mom was in an accident.  She is okay (aside from
many cuts and bruises) but is in pain none-the-less.
She was completely in the right (she was over the white line on her side
trying to avoid the guy), and even the RCMP say it looks like he is all at

For my sins I've taken over as the Christmas grotto co-ordinator. I dont
mind too much as over the past two years I've been very heavily involved
in it.
For those not in the know, its one that we have at the school christmas

DS has this friend in school that is pretty possessive and attention
demanding.   We took notice of the budding relationship over the summer and
this boy would call DS numerous times a day, talk for hours, wanted DS to be

Went to friends (call her K1) house afterschool. Shes got two little
girls, one with special needs (A)and a preschooler. Also there was
another friend (K2) with 3 boys (J & A)- 2 school age  and one toddler

today I
1. took out trash
2. went to post office to get mail
3 voted AGAINST school tax

I went to the opticians that my gp recommended this morning. She was
very good. Confirmed That I've got steroid induced cataracts and that I
will need surgery. Shes writing a report to my gp recommending that I be
referred to to the consultant at the hospital. Its a 3 month ...

Looks like theres a possibility of the weather in the UK being
'interesting' on thursday as some of the weather models are plotting
Hurricane Gordon to come over us as a strong extratropical system.
Fascinating really as its a Cat 2 atm and possibly growing stronger

well, i'm not at work today.  husband got up hardly able to walk this a.m.
he really hasn't done anything to aggravate his back any more than usual,
but today ain't a good one. so, the doc said come on in at noon.  it would
be nice if finally this [new] doc would either help him ...
