Thanks to all who sent vibes for DH's job.  He got it!!!!!!!!  There wasn't
even a second interview so he must have impressed the heck out of them!  I'm
so proud of him!

... bras for girls that don't have anything that needs a bra yet.
You know bras usually have room for something to fill the void but those are
just as if one had taken a halter top and cut most of it away.
How do I know?

(I post regularly on m.k.* but never posted here till now. I see
familiar "faces" here. since this topic is not about kids but about me,

Amazed and Perplexed -
I find my efforts to check in with other hard working
moms, find out how they make ends meet, offer a way
that I am in the process of  learning while staying

If you had a gazillion pears what would you do with them?? These ones
arent really keepers and I'm not sure I like pear sauce. Some are being
turned into wine and some into Perry. I might have to put some out in
our driveway with a 'help your self' sign.

DD came home from school friday with a Fundraiser. It was for the parent teacher
association for the school. I looked at the stuff they were selling and IMO it
was way overpriced. So I told her "I tell you what I will donate some money for
the  school but I am not going to buy ...

i bought a new freezer last December... it's decided that the
coldest it will get is 34F at the coldest setting...so
everything in it has thawed. it was well into the 40s when i
took stuff out yesterday.
