Grumble... airline tickets04 Nov 2006 18:53 GMT2
Back before we moved dh thought he would need to get to us from here and
we bought him a ticket on line.  As it turns out I was on the road to
leave about the time his ticket was set  for him to come out to us.  So
we cancelled the trip and were not able to get a refund but we ...

Fade to Gray....04 Nov 2006 13:18 GMT10
Well, I found my first gray hair, but the odd thing was, it was brown on the
end but practically white by the root!  LOL I'm going to put it in DS's baby
book and tell him it was the first gray hair he gave me!  <VEG>  Well, if I
go gray, I'm sure I'll cover it, but if my hair ...

Dh sorts our recycles outside the back door.  He found a little bird.
Amazing the dogs didn't find her.  This little one found her way to a
small space behind the paper and was just sitting there.  Obviously a
babe that fell out of the nest.  Trying her best to fly but she does't ...

OK, so I did not want to do the candy give out thing this year.   DS is out,
DH is off at tennis, I worked until 7pm, and was home alone with the dog
<who is a guard dog, and can be pretty scary herself> and I didn't feel like
fighting back the dog while dishing out candy (that I ...

The spooky02 Nov 2006 08:02 GMT2
3 year old DD was up last night at 3am and I had a heck of a time getting
her back to bed. She wouldn't stay in her room, she wanted to go downstairs
then she seemed to get scared of the fish tank noises and dark lump    s
(toys etc) on the floor. So, since DS had snuck into bed ...

Just woken up to a 7 yr old girl with the sniffles (or so I thought).
Until she cried something about blood all over her bed.
Oh my what a mess, seems she had a blood nose.
All over her bed, carpet in the bedroom, all in the carpet up the hall, and
Sticker oops!02 Nov 2006 08:00 GMT5
I helped out at school today. At break time I went to the loo and was
putting my jacket on so I could go outside. I caught a glimpse of myself
in the mirror. There on the front of my jacket was a large, glow in the
dark scooby doo sticker!
ah man - I'm bummed02 Nov 2006 07:44 GMT9
I was just downloading pics from my camera and realized as they were
downloading that earlier this month when I had downloaded the ones I'd take
then, I had accidentally overwritten all our photos from our July camping
trip to N. Carolina.  I don't seem to have a back up anywhere ...
Ladies, cross your fingers for us02 Nov 2006 07:42 GMT6
There exists a possibility that we will move out of Louisiana *if* my
ds manages to get one of the jobs he is applying for.  The areas he is
looking at have much better services for dgs (all paid for by the
state too).  He has interviews coming up.  The people do already know

Ok, I just want to let you know that 31 sucks!  It isn't nearly as bad when
I turned 30 but none the less I can't stop aging.  SO I guess today I will
celebrate my birthday........
Fish!01 Nov 2006 13:34 GMT8
Katherine has broken her vow of secrecy as to what she would like for
christmas: A fish tank. with, I presume, fish in it.
I know absolutely nothing about fish, in principle I dont mind the idea
but I've told her she needs to do a lot of research before she rights it
