I was in labour.  They had induced me and I was 5 hours away from
delivering my wonderful daughter, our first child!  We were not yet
parents at this point but very hopeful.  I remember during one
particularly difficult bout of labour pain dh was holding my had and

came down and now it has stopped and nothing to show for it.  It got
down to 15 here last night and it's 28 right now at 4 p.m.  COld enough
for snow but it hasn't done so.  How's the weather there?

Three years ago today I was kicking back with Sue and her DH in the skytower
in Auckland NZ.   I still remember that dessert wine!
DH and I just returned from a long romantic weekend in Savannah GA to
celebrate our 3rd anniversary.  Happys as can be.

this morning my brother was behind a car that was in a fatal car crash on a
major local highway. a car came over the median and creamed this van, my
brother was driving behind the van and saw the car coming from the other
side of the highway. So scary! He pulled right over and ...

Just the final clean up at the aprartment.  DH is there now getting some
final stuff out.  We have a cleaning crew coming in at around 2.  I'm here
waiting on the cable guy.  And surprise, surprise, I either have the flu or
a really bad cold.  Leaning towards the flu becaues of ...

I just found this on line article about a child with autism.  I have not had
direct contact with many who have it as severely as this child apparently
does and I found the article sensitive and encouraging.  Hence, my thought

Wandered into our local Claires Accesories this morning while I was in

I just got off the phone with local Center for the Arts Director.  They
want my dd to be a principal role in their production of Peter Pan.  She
didn't even audtion for the part although she is registered in classes.
Yahooo.  I know she will be super excited!

Anyway ... about movies, I am looking for non-kid movies (egads, I almost
said adult lol) to rent or to get at the library.
