I've not seen any posts all day!  Where are you all hiding?

Boy am I glad that our New Year's Day plans were down graded to stay at
home!  I got up to the sound of snow crashing down off the roof [happens
regularly with these raised seam metal roofs if there is snow on them].
Looked outside to see the rain coming down 'heavily' [lightly ...

I just got a call from my mom, she just left the doctor's office and he
thinks she may have had a mini stroke.  She goes for a CT scan and I want a
cigarette.  BAD.  I wish she was healthy.  I am so tempted right now and I
thought I'd post here instead.

is this thing on?
ahhh ... I think I have my NG's back (yea! no more google and no more DH's
lap top) ...   I still have to fix my email, AIM, and a ton of other stuff.

This came up on another board and I thought it might be fun to get
people's ideas on it.
I tend to use a lot of things for purposes other than those the
manufacturer had in mind. I do it even more now that I have kids.

I'm now a single mom with a 6 month old son and i'm desperate to get a
job. I prefer to work at home so I can take care of my son myself. Does
anyone have any advice.

We've got carpet throughout our house, except in our tiled kitchen.  I just
don't have the time to clean the house like I want to (when it comes to the
floors, it's either run the vacuum or mop the kitchen, there's never time
for both) and I am looking for a solution other than ...
