Well things are going well for me at the moment but I have a few bedtime

my girls were out in the snow this morning and came in after a good hard
 bit of cold fun. My 6 year old asks me if her older sister will take a
bath with her.  I told her to ask? (Totally love when they get along
those two!)

I got back last night from my delicious cruise....it was perfect!  My friend
and I got to Ft. Lauderdale the night before we embarked, so we decided on a
wonderful place for dinner, and went to bed early with good books to read.

Lesson learned: nothing is final until you have signed a contract! I
just got a call from the big boss at the government ministry who 'hired'
me. Turns out money is being redirected to climate change rather than
contaminated sites (where the job I was offered is). So there may be ...

What a day!  And it isn't over yet.
While at work this morning I became more and more frustrated with my vision.
I'd hcnaged nothing in my work space set up but I was having a real struggle
to really read the words on the computer screen as the morning grew on.

Katherine hasnt got school today - teacher training. One of her best
friends asked last week if she could stay for a sleep over. This is a
massive massive step for this little girl as shes never been away from
her Mum and still co-sleeps. Up until recently playdates and school ...

nerve wracking not having worked for the past 2 years (except for a bit

July 21st the new Potter is scheduled to hit the shelves at 1 minute after
midnight. I love that it is being released in the summer because the kids
will have the time to sit back and read and enjoy. I realize it isn't summer
break for everyone, but it is here (woohoo)
