Katherine got her first chain mail today from a friend. It was in her book bag. Shes supposed to send off 6 letters to other people and a book of stickers to the named person on the letter then magically she will receive 36 back.

My 7yo DD wants to wear flip flops ... because of her medical issues she is unable to ware them. I would like to find 'flip flop' type shoes that have a strap in the back .... anyone know of such a shoe?

Katherine had a letter home from school with a paper plate asking for home-made cakes to sell at an Easter cake stall tomorrow. I told her I couldn't make them but if she wanted to I could give her a recipe and she could be entirely responsible for them.

Happy to say my hair was long enough that they could cut off 2 thick 10" long ponytails to donate to Locks of Love. (Had I realized that I could've had my hair done for free on a Wednesday night - oh well!) I am glad because I didn't think my hair was that long :)

So, the several feet of snow is well under melt now. We can actually see some parts of the yard, mainly where paths had been shoveled to things like the compost pile and such. That includes the one from the back door to wherever.
