cooked chicken23 Mar 2007 14:52 GMT7
I have cooked chicken (made chicken soup yesterday  - but we really prefer a
clear broth - hence cooked chicken) which I would like to convert to a meal.
Any ideas on what to do with said chicken? excluding typical chicken salad
or chicken pot pie. Thanks!
sunset comes when it will23 Mar 2007 01:48 GMT38
Turning fifty.  Don't know how it is for others, but it seems to be the year
that becoming old and entering the sunset years comes home to me.  My
parents used to be so young, so vital, so healthy, so everything.  Somewhere
along the line they started to age, but I didn't really ...

I know sometimes we get involved when talking but I had noticed that there
has been an awful lot of posts lately where there was no removal of the
stuff that had no relationship to what was being replied to, such as the
several posts quoted by the several previous responders to ...
Round two tomorrow22 Mar 2007 23:56 GMT19
Next surgery is tomorrow. Not sure if I'll be online in the morning as
my done eye isnt that great at computer vision yet (though its
definitely better) and I wont be able to wear my contact lens in the
other eye.
Mean Boys22 Mar 2007 20:02 GMT35
We were in McDonalds play place and a boy (about 5/6 yrs old) kicked my
daughter in the chest.  I took her to the ER and found that she has swollen
and bruised ribs.  Poor Kid :(
They took X-Rays, but told me that it can take a few days for a break in the
Got the fidgets.22 Mar 2007 18:43 GMT2
Slightly pointless boring post!
2 1/2 hours before we set off. I'm all fidgety. Have made some rouille
sauce and  turned a baguette into croutons so that tonight we can have
some nice bouillabaisse soup tonight - good easy comfort food.

received ONE letter saying they had received one of my complaints, but I

Suddenly she said "Mommy I am 'have, I am 'have."
I said "what?"
She said "Mommy I am 'have can I have a gumball?"

I don't know if any of you recall that we hosted a Japanese cultural
exchange student the summer after we moved to Vermont.  We had a grand time
doing so, despite the numerous language challenges.  Last year was not a
good year to repeat that experience, but we are taking the ...

I've got a big cold and I'm home with ys who is running fever. I just
prompted him to drink some more because 'it's important to stay drunk ... i
mean hydrated'.  I think we'll both nap soon.

Five Years Ago Today22 Mar 2007 02:41 GMT7
God gave me my precious baby girl.  After months of worrying about her
weight and a zillion ultrasounds she was born at 8:05 pm. She weighed a tiny
5lbs 8oz and was beautiful with the prettiest Chestnut hair I had ever seen.
Now 5 years later she is a tiny blonde and has my heart ...
Lucky clover22 Mar 2007 02:40 GMT15
So, if the instructions say the first of my four lucky clover bulbs should
start growing above ground after ten weeks (!), how come I can see the first
one after 10 DAYS :-)? These plants are living the good life here apparently
LOL. Ten days after planting the seeds I can also ...

Last night the shop where my father works as a manager (liquor store) was
broken into. They came through the heavily armed back door and actually
sawed up the beam that secured it from the inside into pieces. Stole plenty
