Mummys Day coming up in the UK soon, and I realised I hadn't said hi in
here for a while :)
My Mum and Dad are off to New York for a week, and it falls over the
Mothers Day weekend. Normally me and my sister would get our mum a

We both had an insatiable yet unvoiced desire to do it alfresco, so we
trudged outside under the radiant lumes of a full moon and sat under a
ponderosa pine tree, where there wasn't much snow on the ground. She
hungered for a cycle of carnal integration as much as I did, and the

Our 6 year old lost her very first tooth this week.  It was really a
momentous thing!  The tooth was almost out and we finally braved the
final pull.  She was quite upset to see blood coming out but all of a
sudden she was transformed.  She loved the gap and the cute smile and

I was with my daughter at the farmers market yesterday and twice passed
a sign that said "All This Because Two People Fell in Love!"  I was
pleased with it... looking at my 10 year old daughter and thinking about
the two of my beautiful children who were at home likely sleeping

got a bunch of boy clothes, mostly 4T, that need new home.
want them? nothing very dressy. mostly in good condition, but i
have some knee patched jeans too.

Two weeks ago was our wedding anniversary...DH brings chocolates, champagne,
roses AND tulips, a lovey card...we send the kids off for the night, have a
romantic dinner, I slip into the bubble bath......and promptly double over
with a kidney stone!

Oh I must have known something was in the air when I wrote on the 27th. The
next day I was called to have a meeting with the school counselor and
principal. :((  I and his teachers have now had to do an assessment of him
and the results will be shared in a meeting tomorrow ...

Went up to hospital yesterday for 2:30. Eye ward was very quiet - one
elderly gentleman ahead of me - who kept coughing lolol!! Got called in
for surgery bit after 4pm.

My husband hooked up his laptop to my internet modem tonight---he is on-call
this week. When he was done, I was unable to access the internet and after
an hour on the phone with Comcast and another 30 min with a guy from his
work, I decided to figure out how to fix things myself. ...

I may have the chance to visit London with a friend of mine for a
weekend sometime in early summer, something I very much look forward to.
As always, this depends very much on the costs. Thanks to all those
cheap airlines, the flight itself will be very lowcost (but safe, so I

I got up in the middle of the night Friday (Saturday at 0300, actually) and
stepped into 2 inch deep water!  Seems when I started that load of laundry
at 10 pm and went to bed, the washer didn;t get the message to stop filling,

Following on from other post.
Had a lot of difficulty seeing last night. No eye patch. Operated eye
was very achy and didnt like trying to copy right eye. couldnt work out
whether it was better with my glasses or not. Tried with popping a lens

Katherine bought home a huge get well card that her class have made. Its
so sweet :) They've all drawn themselves and each picture has been
turned into a flower in a big vase. How lovely and thoughtful of them :)
