DD3 (well, turns 4 this week) did a stunt involving the couch and coffee

His name is Gus and we rescued him from a shelter.  He's a good 'ole boy who
loves our attention.  Although he's still getting used to Tadpole.  Gus

Stroking my badcat just now and I felt a hard lump on her back  so I
pulled it out thinking it was a claw from a fight or something. Turned
out to be a small flat black creature with legs that ran across the
sofa. I'm wondering if it might be a tick that hadn't embedded itself
