DD is Imitiating the Neighbour14 Jun 2007 15:11 GMT1
I have a little problem.  DD is 2.5 years old.  She's a sweet and
mostly well behaved little girl.  We have a neighbour whose son is
almost 3.  He's a pretty good kid.  I think my neighbour is much too
hard on her son.  She scolds and punishes him with "time out" for
DD allergy testing14 Jun 2007 14:06 GMT5
Well we went to the allergist this morning.  It went pretty smoothly.
They wrote the numbers 1-5 on her back and then pressed five paddles on
her back.  There were eight things on each paddle.  They waited 15
minutes and then checked her.  She is allergic to dust mites, cat

A Gardening Question?14 Jun 2007 13:20 GMT16
My mom has these vines in her front yard with big leaves (think lily pad
size and bigger) with white flowers and neither of us know what it is!  I
know many of you have green thumbs, can you help identify this mystery?
Thanks!

small eye update14 Jun 2007 09:55 GMT12
Don't think I update from last hospital visit (just before camping)
where they said the retinas are still attached with no breaks.
Still very high risk for that but that risk should lessen somewhat in a
few weeks as I'm undergoing something called 'posterior vitreous

A Meloncholey Kind of Day. (Death Mentioned)13 Jun 2007 21:06 GMT7
Well, today would have been my brother's 31 birthday.  It amazes me how fast
time really flies.  It has been five years since my brother took his own
life.  I sit and just think of all the good times we had together and the
trouble we got into together.  I just doesn't seem like ...

Problem:  for the last 4-6 weeks [or so] I've been having increasing amounts
of pain in my feet.  Started in my right foot and is still primarily that
Info on allergy testing13 Jun 2007 07:00 GMT6
I was just wondering if anyone here has had allergy testing?  DD(8) is
scheduled to go on Wednesday morning.  I'm a little surprised that he
ordered it.  He has always said that she had illness induced asthma.
Neither my husband or I have allergies  but he does have some in his
annoying habit13 Jun 2007 00:14 GMT14
Boo likes to hear himself talk (i knew the speech therapy was a
bad idea <g>). this probably is pretty normal for a going-on-
7YO, but what he says tends to be highly repetitous & well, it's
getting really annoying... especially combined with his high

Potty Training question12 Jun 2007 02:08 GMT8
My sister is potty training my niece now and my niece won't tell her
when she has a poopy diaper. In fact, she will even lie and say she
doesn't when she does. She does this at home and at daycare. Any
suggestions on why and what can be done differently?
Shes a little nervous11 Jun 2007 13:50 GMT12
Katherine's first riding competition this afternoon. She has been
working hard learning her dressage routine. I've finally got her kitted
out - a new pair of jodphurs (thought her pink and purple ones wouldn't
be quite the thing!), white shirt and a tie (pink and purple lol!) and ...
