The science museum in London run a day long summer club for kids and their parents. Its the first summer they've done it. While we were there today they had a photographer taking loads of pics for promotional stuff. We went with Ks best friend and her Mum.

It just keeps getting better with my mom. My Mum-in-Law is here and we are having a great time and we come home on Sunday to find that our AC went out. It's been over a 100 degrees here and the house was unbearable.

I don't know if I had mentioned it earlier, but my husband has taught me how to play chess about a month ago. Well, tonight I beat him! I was surprised as he's been playing for years. He keeps saying that he'd made stupid mistakes and me beating him would not happen again.

My kids are 3 and 4 yo. Is it too early for them to get an eye exam? The younger one has a slight squint in one eye that only shows when you look carefully sometimes. I want to get their eyes checked just in case. the pediatric ophthalmologists here are solidly booked year

yup. i did loose it. i had planned my words, thought i was ready to address the issue reasonably, but the first words out of her mouth were along the lines of 'i hope it didn't inconvenience you any.' HA! Leave your kid with hubby at noon so you can go to the next town over
