So, I now that I've had a night sleep to gain some perspective, I thought
I'd share the rest of my day yesterday with you all.  Names are changed to
protect the involved, except me!
I carry a small case load at the office, meaning I see on average one client

Those moments of bent reality where Spawn's sheer existence, her
very soul, was in question this past year have grown further
apart. She's a resilient little sprite and clearly clever beyond
her years. As a result, Vegas Odds makers lost a wad yet again.

Some of you may know that I compete in the canning and baking classes
at the annual Minnesota State Fair (opened yesterday, goes through
September 3, 2007.)   Here are my competition results this year at the
Great Minnesota Get-Together:

DS has been such a wonderful teen so far...  He is trouble free and doesn't
hate me yet.  :)
But funny thing - this year it came to "back to school" stuff - we got the
list from school and he went thru his spare supplies from last year and we

My DS just called to tell me his dad was rushed to the ER after
suffering what appears to be a mini stroke.  He reports dad is
responding well to treatment and talking but will stay in hospital
overnight at a minimum.  DS is very worried...

To my dearest DD
She was a little bitter today, she had her first day of school for 2nd grade

i have call forwarding on the phone in NY. this afternoon i
received a very pleasant (forwarded) phone call inviting the
family to the school picnic for students entering... 6th grade.
um.

Well, its now sold. Going for a new life on the race tracks. Good bye
little red car.
And wouldnt you know it - as he test drove it the blasted wipers broke
again, so we knocked a bit off.

I'm not sure if theres anyone here from round that way? If so, hope you
are doing ok. I was doing my usual trawl through the various tropical
storm news (interest of mine) and saw that Erin had dumped rather a lot
of water and caused a lot of flooding.

I can't stand the spam!!! What's new?  We're still in our PJ's - I'm
catching up on paperwork and cleaning ... kid's are tidying playroom (or so
they say!!) and then we're off to the mall for some last minute back to
school shopping.  What about you?
