I had my previous 2 daycare kids leave me recently (one went to full time
preschool the others mother is now on mat leave) and so I had two little
boys start with me yesterday for a trial run (their mother doesn't go back
for another 2 weeks).

its cold grey and wet. Friends have just been for a coffee and that was
lovely but they could only stay for a bit as its school pick up time.
Katherine is going on a sleep over tonight so I've got the next 3 hours

oh dear - poor Katherine, I went to put her guinea pig out and it was
very dead. She was 5 1/2 yo, had her since she was a baby and we were
all rather fond of her. A real little personality. I didn't even realise

phew!  home again, jiggity jig and all that.  My patient, long suffering
road crew has survived yet another craft show and are now relaxing in front
of a netflix of Gilligan's Island.  I am about to fall over tired, but
that's ok.  The show went very well and I am quite pleased.  ...

well, the local ag fair has just finished & we acquired 2 new
chickens. i bought a lovely solid white Americuna hen, that
lays eggs more towards blue than my other two Americunas. Boo
