bad parenting and sleep problems31 Dec 2003 23:10 GMT13
My son slept a miraculous 8hrs before his 12th week.  No Ferber method, no nothing.
He started doing this regularly and would get up around 2am.  Then he'd want some
milk and sleep again for a few more hours.
Of course I screwed this up :(  I took him out of his crib and he slept ...

I posted this question in the financial aid thread, but I'd really like to
discuss it further. Could anyone please give me some input on this?

What do I do with an unneeded carseat?31 Dec 2003 18:35 GMT23
What do you do with a carseat that is in perfect condition, that you
don't need anymore?  My seat has stamped into it that it is good until
December 2007.  "They" say not to use second hand carseats, so that
would mean I shouldn't give it to anyone, but it seems a complete waste
10 yr old wets pants during the day31 Dec 2003 18:04 GMT2
I'm at my wit's end. My 10 year old wets his pants every day. He
doesn't wet the bed at night, just during the day. We've taken our son
to a urologist, his regular doctor too - they claim nothing is wrong
with him physically.  We've tried having him go on a regular basis,

I'm a writer doing a magazine article on parents yelling at kids. I
would like to speak to parents around the country who have yelled at
their kids on any occasion. I am interested in hearing from parents
who do this regularly as well as those who do not feel they have a
Fussy 9 week old won't sleep, must be held at all times!  Help!30 Dec 2003 20:17 GMT13
My 9 week old son will not nap during the day and will sleep no more
than 2 hours at a time at night.  He wakes up multiple times a night
*starving* as if he hasnt been fed in weeks.  We've tried increasing
his formula intake and that has not helped. We've also tried to just

Big baby logistics30 Dec 2003 15:57 GMT72
Jaden is growing like a weed and I'm going to have to stop using the
infant carseat/carrier this week.  I haven't switched to the convertible
carseat yet mainly because I can't figure out how to do a couple of
things without the carrier, like grocery shopping.  He's only three
Loan of toddler travel chair needed (Melb - Australia Only) Sorry for the cross posting!30 Dec 2003 07:40 GMT8
Due to our need to get out of the house for a week or so, we are taking a
short trip interstate to visit family. However no-one was able to organise a
highchair where we are going. I've been keeping my eye out for a booster
chair on ebay but wasn't organised enough and now there's ...
teething30 Dec 2003 02:24 GMT2
for the last 3 or 4 months, Chris will go thru periods of major fussiness
and screaming.  all the signs have pointed towards teething.  this seemed
confirmed when in early sept. we saw a tiny, hard white spot on his lower
gum--the beginning of a tooth.  the frustrating part is that, ...

A little confused -- this flu thing???29 Dec 2003 20:54 GMT253
Am I missing something? (Don't answer that...)
Every year we have the flu. Right?  And every year people are told to get flu
shots if they are at high risk. And most of the rest of us, by and large, don't
bother.
