Just as I predicted.  Catching Bin Laden because he killed 3000
Americans is one thing, but the election is looming.  Time to get
serious.

spanking teens because you love them07 Mar 2004 23:43 GMT2
Dear Steve, still alive I see. Hope you are a better person someday and come to
care about others. A spanking of a child you love is painful to a parent, but
it is often best for the child.

How do you get a 17 year old boy to WANT to work?
allergy testing07 Mar 2004 23:38 GMT5
My middle daughter has completed two rounds of prick tests for her
allergies.  What a trial.  Surprisingly, she didn't test positive for
many of the standard allergens.  She came down with hives when she broke
her arm in 2002.  They changed the antibiotic, but forgot to change ...
Gifts for Christening07 Mar 2004 23:11 GMT7
Hope everyone is well? I've been a bit quiet on this list recently.
Morgan is finally having his christening next Sunday and many people are
asking us what to get him, saying "is he collecting anything / are you
collecting anything for him".

Hes got such a temper on him now !!!
When I try to settle him to sleep, sometimes he absolutely refuses and
wriggles, kicks, and punches like crazy. Sometime he'll eventually settle
down, sometime not. Sometimes hes happy to sleep on me, sometimes all he
FAO - Anike re lop-sided head07 Mar 2004 20:31 GMT1
Sorry, not got time to explain much, but there is an article in this months'
Junior magazine about this, and as I wrote in my earlier post, a cranial
osteopath is explaining some facts - worth a read!

How do they xray a baby?07 Mar 2004 20:17 GMT3
A follow up thought to my 'Irregular leg creases' posting.
If my DD has to have an xray of her hips, how'd they go about it?  Surely
they dont give a general anaesthetic, so how do they keep babies still ?  My
DD is 7 months old so is at the wriggly stage :)

Watch Your Retirement Funds, Dads!07 Mar 2004 19:09 GMT2
The state of Florida, which continually pats itself on the back for every
dad financially destroyed, isn't content with its treatment of Florida dads
and now urges the US Congress to follow its lead. Why? Why is Florida
concerned about fathers in other states? Have they run out of ...
Does early potty training work?07 Mar 2004 17:46 GMT8
I read it somewhere and heard it on NPR about really early potty
training (while the baby is just few months old) by Chinese parents.
It seems most babies are potty trained latest by one. Does it work in
this day and age? I read another thread about books on this topic. I'm
Should daughter be invited to bday party of same-aged cousin?07 Mar 2004 17:40 GMT11
Hi, I am so glad I found this board because I really need help and
direction! Last year, my sister-in-law had a birthday party for her 5
year old twins and did not bother to invite my 7 year old and 5 year
old children. My feelings were sorely hurt as we had always attended

I just subscribed to this newsgroup a short time ago and up until today I
really enjoyed reading the posts and even responding to some.  But today and
shown the true colors of some of the members to this group.  Several posts
today were in my opinion very rude!  I even showed these ...
