Kira is slightly older than James @ 20 months, when we tried her in a bed,
all she did was climb out and sit at the door crying, we had to keep going
in and putting her back to bed, only for her to do the same again, we tended
to just put her back in the cot coz she was gettin too ...
CS and women's greed strikes again..30 Jun 2004 23:06 GMT3
The message below is SOOO characteristic of alt.child-support.
I provide details of a painful personal problem, and all I get in return
is flaming and mockery.  You know, Gini, that's a form of abuse, too.  I'm
just being abused left, right, and center.  But I'm going to be an ...

Anyone reading Krista's message below cannot help but be struck by the
vocabulary she uses.  For example, she's a "survivor" of many "emotionally
abusive" relationships.  This is the victim mindset that has been encouraged
by the modern-day feminist movement.  It's been ...
stretch marks on growing tween30 Jun 2004 18:07 GMT8
My friend swears it's normal, and I have a call into the pediatrician, but I
figured I'd ask anyhow. If you have a daughter who is in the midst of her
puberty growth spurt, did she get stretch marks? DD has them on her butt,
thighs, boobs, and sides. She's very thin, at 5'3 she ...

Boys in gymnastics classes?30 Jun 2004 02:26 GMT55
My daughter (6 this Friday) has been doing gymnastics for 2 yrs now and will
do it again this fall.  It's only one hour a week.
I think my son (4.5) needs to do something.  He has a lot of energy but is
quite uncoordinated.   I was thinking of signing him up for gymnastics where

need advice about wisdom teeth removal30 Jun 2004 00:09 GMT16
Hi, I'm in my late twenties, need to remove my wisdom teeth (3 partially
impacted, 1 fully under the gum).  I just wanted advice on the method,
whether I should get IV sedation or not/whether to do them all at once or
couple at a time.  If anyone can share their experience that'd ...
Sudocrem - How do you remove from carpets?29 Jun 2004 22:07 GMT8
James decided to remove the lid from the Sudocrem and cover himself and the
carpet! We've managed to get it off him but the carpet is another story!
DH has used Vanish Carpet cleaner but it doesn't look too hopeful. We're due
to move any day soon and would rather like to get it ...
I'm a big whinger29 Jun 2004 22:06 GMT10
I check this group every morning when I wake up and groan as there are no

a halfway interesting post, so it is all up to you...
Then I check AM and go oh my good 200 posts in a day and a half, I'll never

I am not trying to get out of supporting my son, I am just trying to
understand the child support guidelines.  In fact I have a very good
relationship with my son and will continue to support him.  So if anyone
here can help, I would appreciate it.
what would you do...29 Jun 2004 18:56 GMT6
We got the bill from the anaesthetist today ( for my spinal block, such that
it was!)
anyway Dh refuses to pay it, he is still very angry about the amount of pain
I felt during the c/s. I think we probably should but send a letter of

The change table in my twins' nursery is an old desk with a top added.
Since staorage in the room is *very* limited, the drawers in the desk are
useful, and often used--one, in particular, is often opened one-handed by an
adult because the boys' socks are there.
Solicit gifts from students29 Jun 2004 13:31 GMT25
Is it normal etiquette for an elementary school teacher to solicit gifts
from their students? We got a letter from school today asking for a $4
donation for a Chimnea (small enclosed fireplace) for "their big deck on
their new house" for the teacher. Now this isn't so bad, because ...
