Are there any politicians, state or national, that openly advocate
re-establishing some realism in so-called "family" law?

I won't say "In an IDEAL CS case," because then the answers I get will be
$0.  I know that, and I agree that's the ideal.  We're not talking about
ideals, we're talking about what should happen in non-ideal situations that
are, nonetheless, real.  My answers are below.

Is there a set age for teaching a child how to ride a bike?
Rachel is 6 and is too big for her little bike with training wheels,

This morning I tackled the director about the TV watching.  He moved really
fast, calling in the head child care worker (he isn't a child care person at
all -- just an administrator, I think).
I thought they might have a protocol for watching TV when the weather was bad.  

How come all we do is bitch in this newsgroup? (for the most part
anyway) Where is all the action?
I want to know what we as US citizens can do to change these laws.  Why
does child support and custody take such a back seat to issues such as

Since we moved at easter my new car bought last dec has had to sit out in
the street/driveway as our double garage was filled with boxes that we were
not unpacking until we buy a home, ie study stuff and all DH garage crap and
tools, it slowly developed gaps as we unpacked a little ...

Does anyone own one of these?  I need to get the things that clip the car
seat onto my stroller and I dont know where to get them from.  I am ready to
just give up and buy a new system but I think that would be a waste of money

We eat dinner at 6 and bedtime is at 7:30 for our 4 and 5 year old.  The
