Cheered up a little22 Jul 2004 09:52 GMT8
Had a visit from my ex work mate this afternoon. Cheered up somewhat from
hearing what a huuuuge mess the new librarian is in right from the first
week. I guess she is of the leap before you learn pursuasion. Oh my she has
set the cat among the pigeons with one of the decisions ...

RE. sex before marriage22 Jul 2004 06:30 GMT1
someone said even if you wait until after marriage to have sex you'd
be lucky to find a woman who has done the same....statistics show that
men are more likely to have sex before marriage. I think whomever said
that is having resentments about a personal issue?
best tasting baby food?22 Jul 2004 05:18 GMT9
Please, don't answer homemade.  I wonder which of the commercial baby foods
taste best.  DS never liked any of them.  I remember the Gerber fruits were
too sour.  Don't remember much else.  Anyone?
Moving on, growing up22 Jul 2004 02:39 GMT2
My older son, for many years my "baby," will be heading off to college in
the fall.  I've not really had this experience before; his sister's "leaving
home" was much more dramatic, and less positive.  While he's going away,
he's not going far; just to the Big State University about ...
Household chores22 Jul 2004 01:31 GMT2
Do you give your kids extra chores during summer vacation? Do you have
any trouble getting them to do their assigned chores in general? Do you
pay an allowance for household work?
What are your kids' least and most favorite chores to do around the

Recent observation.22 Jul 2004 00:26 GMT8
When I went to the Quantico Marine Base, in Northern Virginia, I decided to
do a little bar hopping. At every bar I went to, there were older women
trying to trick/trap strapping little soldiers into parenthood. Apparently
in the towns of Triangle and Dumfries mothers teach their ...
Question for underwear wearers21 Jul 2004 21:22 GMT20
For those that sleep in underwear, do you put on a clean pair before you
go to bed or do you wear the same ones you have been wearing all day? If
you put on a clean pair, do you wear them throughout the next day?
I've slept in skin all my adult life and even as a child I never ...
Is this a way to treat a pregnant mother?21 Jul 2004 20:40 GMT2
I have this friend who goes by the name "Tinkerbell" on the usenet.  She is
17 weeks pregnant and is having complications.  A poster that used to post
in the pregnancy groups is going around flaming her and spreading rumors
that my friend Tinkerbell does cybersex on the internet ...
school in Germany21 Jul 2004 18:35 GMT11
Anyone who lives in Germany, can you describe the educational system?
We may have the opportunity to move there late this year or next year
with my husband's job and I am interested in how the school day works,
how times and classes are arranged. My school-aged children are 9 and
9 month old sleep issues21 Jul 2004 15:53 GMT13
I have another issue and I'd like to gather some opinions.  My son is
9.5 months old.  Our sleep situation has always been tolerable, but I
think it's making a transition to the intolerable side.
There are two specific sleep problems I'm having--getting him to

Couple of reasons -my tax refund hasn't come back yet. I have nothing until
it does.
