This is sort of a grumbly vent.
My daughter's school has a yearly talent show-- actually, 2 since so
many students (about 1/2 the school) participate in some way or another.

A month versus 28 days31 Dec 2004 18:17 GMT11
I got this weird problem.  I pay a 1,000 dollars a month in CS.  To me, that
means, 12,000 a year.  California calculates it to be every 28 days.  And
even with that, they can't get their math straight.  If the court order says
a month, is it a month, or 28 days?
Orthodontia31 Dec 2004 14:39 GMT19
DS has a pronounced overbite.  We joke that he got my skull
and my wife's jaw, and they don't fit.  So we've always known
that orthodontia is in our future with him.  Monday he had
a consult at the dentist (who wierded the BH out -- so we'll

Outsourcing' jobs Is Hard On Kids(Thanks Bush)31 Dec 2004 02:09 GMT129
My mom got me a Netgear PS101 print server for Christmas. I planned on using
it with samba and lpd just like my intel netports.
Real simple install...  Just plug in, load config software and configure.
Well... the config sofware doesn't see any PS101's at all so I call

Surgery for undescended testicle (Todd do you have info on this?)30 Dec 2004 22:20 GMT15
I was wondering if anyone had any info on surgery for an undescended
testicle.  My ped referred me to a pediatric urologist because my ds has one
testicle that he could not feel at all.  The urologist also could not feel
the testicle, and apparently this means that it is probly ...

Are their any Family Rights Groups that actually have enough organization to make something happen?30 Dec 2004 18:59 GMT8
Hi, this is Steve Carroll, I posted a while back, having problems
getting access to School records, current status, etc. for my Son in
Texas.  My Son is 19, I went round and round, getting told by each
office that I had to call someone else, and that someone else referred
Left or Right Handed.....30 Dec 2004 11:10 GMT7
DS has only just started to learn to write his own name, and is using both left and right hands to
do so.  Would I be correct in deciding to let him figure out for himself which hand he feels more
comfortable using, or try and encourage him to use one or the other before he starts ...
