Really really OT22 Aug 2005 19:31 GMT1
I know this is really really off topic and I m sure there will be a few
rants about it,  but I am looking to rehome my cat.  We live in Leicester. I
have already contacted the RSPCA and they have said that they cannot take
her in until October. Anyone got any ideas? Anyone want her? ...
Nosebleeds - causes?22 Aug 2005 01:56 GMT7
My 3.5 year old daughter has been having nosebleeds in her sleep - 3 of
them in the last week.
My husband had TONS of nosebleeds, too, starting at around that age, so
our assumption is that she's inherited his tendency, and if that's the

I think some people on this ng have kids with this problem.  I wonder if DS
does.  I figured he was just going through a phase last year.  Is it still a
phase or should I be looking for help?  I'm sure my parenting abilities
could use some work, but DD is so much easier than DS.  ...
Weekly Topical Bible Message-Learning how to love disabled & disadvantaged people21 Aug 2005 17:08 GMT33
I strive to have good spelling, grammar and mechanics in these studies.
But I do make mistakes from time to time so please be so kind and report
what you find to me.  Thank you!
I like to start some of my bible messages with something kinda funny so
Potty Terminology21 Aug 2005 16:15 GMT12
If my 3 year old goes poopie without pee pee, is it still considered
going a "#2" or would it be a "#1"?
(could this possibly be a "#3"... is there even such a thing?)
Pros & Cons of Daycare20 Aug 2005 22:35 GMT169
I am the residential parent of a beautiful little girl who is 3 ¾
years old and quite social. She was born in December, so she will not
be attending kindergarten for two years. Currently, she is staying home
during the school days, with a babysitter, while her three other

Yes, this is from that fine peer-reviewed journal, Slate.  And, yes,
"Arthur Allen is writing a history of vaccination" is hardly academic
or professional credentials.  I have no idea if he has any such
credentials.  Still, I thought it was an interesting read and if there

Wife's earning be considered?20 Aug 2005 18:14 GMT21
Hello,
I am engaged to someone that had two children in his previous marriage.
And currently he is paying a hefty amount of child support to his ex-wife
(who is currently remarried). The visitation is an issue, but we are
Sharing a solution to TV Poisoning20 Aug 2005 16:07 GMT1
I recently bought a toy on eBay that totally went out of my expectation.
When I bought the toy, I thought it was probably going to be lame, but I
was actually recommeded by a friend to buy the toy ride-on being it
"extracts children from television." As much of a TV fan as I am, ...
legal guardianship?19 Aug 2005 23:25 GMT2
In Oregon, how do you go about establishing legal guardianship?  Bio mom is
dead.  Step mom wants to have legal authority if needed.
We are planning a trip to Mexico in Spring, trying to get 15 year old's
passport and it gives a spot for mother or legal guardian to sign.
well, darn....does it ever end? LOL19 Aug 2005 21:58 GMT17
Been divorced for about 6 years. The usual stuff has happened, you know the
drill.
Anyhow, I paid over 900 a month in CS for a number of years while my x went
to school. I never complained, well, to her anyway! Anyhow, she gets a job
New Topic :-)  On being a mom19 Aug 2005 18:41 GMT8
Despite getting a bit pounded the first round, I'm going to try another
topic and see if it might have a different outcome.
I interviewed for a job this week and had to negotiate my worth.  Talk
about being vulnerable with every old issue of self worth arising!
Easy finger foods for MDO lunches?19 Aug 2005 17:55 GMT2
My daughter starts Mother's Day Out two mornings a week next week (while I
teach a class at the university). She's 8 1/2 months, and really, really
wants to feed herself-which means that it is much easier for her to have
finger foods than spoon foods, and most commercial foods are ...
Moon Shyne19 Aug 2005 16:39 GMT5
Just for giggles, I thought I'd go run a Dejanews search with the
searchwords "Moon Shyne".  Check out what popped up as message titles:
Moon Shyne is, as usual, lying
