Where to find kids' extra wide shoes?29 Sep 2005 08:30 GMT12
Other than Stride Rite, where I can find extra wide shoes for my son?  His 2
1/2 and wears an 8 1/2 currently, but I need some fall shoes for him in 9 or 9
1/2.
I did buy him a pair of suede boots at Stride Rite this weekend, but would
2 billion people by 210029 Sep 2005 05:17 GMT2
The subject of this post is not a wish, or a goal or really something
to debate the desirability of. It is not even a choice. There is no
choice about reducing the population of the earth in the second half
of the 21st century. It is simply going to happen and by some
Motivating a Jr. High kid28 Sep 2005 17:14 GMT2
My son is entering 8th grade this year.  He's always been an uneven student,
shining in some favorite subjects (won the school's geography bee one year!),
and sliding by in subjects he doesn't like so much.   His teacher, and folks who
are around him day to day, say he's fairly ...
A Parent Show on TLC is looking for a family to help28 Sep 2005 16:01 GMT1
I am helping cast a new show called PARENT COACH it¹s on TLC and I
would love your help in finding families for the show.  The show is on
TLC so it is really more of a documentary about the family learning new
skills (this isn¹t FOX remember!).
Moving around in cot28 Sep 2005 11:54 GMT13
We have just moved DS from is Moses basket to his cot. When we put him
down at night he is placed on his back, feet-to-foot, in a sleepsuit
with a cellular blanket. When he wakes 4-5 hours later for a feed he is
sometimes at a right angle so his feet hit the long side of the cot,
My daughter loves cheese27 Sep 2005 19:27 GMT1
My daughter loves cheese. She wants to eat it and nothing else. I am
worried she is not getting enough nutrition. Is there anything I can
make with cheese (pasta, rice dishes, etc.) that can provide nutrition.
Need advice.
Developing children's intelligence (4 yo)27 Sep 2005 16:18 GMT2
I have a 4.5 yo son who likes playing games like IQ tests. For
example, I would draw some similar pictures and oe dissimilar and he
is to find it. Or to find the next item in sequence.
He thinks that it is fun and asks me to play such games.
neonatal hypoglycemia and dextrose27 Sep 2005 16:18 GMT10
For an infant whose blood glucose levels are really low, why give IV
dextrose as opposed to another sugar?
I need advice on discipline27 Sep 2005 14:46 GMT16
I'm mom of 2, a boy 9 and a girl 12, both good kids.
My girl is very sweet, honest, responsible...but sometimes acts without
thinking. Last Wednesday, after school, she was hanging with her
friends, homework done. One of them, a boy, was going to a shopping
International travel with toddler who has a cold27 Sep 2005 12:12 GMT1
My 2 and half year-old DS came home with a cough, cold and sore throat
today from daycare. We are taking an 18 hour flight this weekend, and
hoping he becomes fine by then.
Usually his cold takes 5-7 days. Just wondering if I can speed up his
juice27 Sep 2005 07:03 GMT57
If you think juice is nothing but calories, no nutrition,
don't-give-it-to-your kids, evil stuff, don't answer this question.  I
already know it is sweet without much nutrients.
We went to the ped today for DD's wbv.  She is 50 percentile height, less

Computer Chat Room Issues and Soutions26 Sep 2005 21:43 GMT2
Has anyway had problems with their teens spending time in undesireable chat
rooms or on adult sites?  These days it's difficult to know what our teens
are doing on their computers.  There is an excellent software product that
lets you see what your teens are doing while online.  ...

Lunch ideas for 3 yr old26 Sep 2005 19:35 GMT45
My 3 yr old is in a pre-school environment and does not seem to be
eating any of the lunch that I pack. I have tried serving macaroni &
cheese, pasta, etc but it does not seem to interest her. She does like
junk food (chips) and tortillas.
