My 12 year old is getting poor grades in school because she doesn't turn in her homework (class work and tests are fine). The homework organization has been an issue since forever, and we've tried everything. Any suggestions?

My three-year-old son's doctor recommends that he see a specialist to figure out just what's going on -- he's a textbook "spirited" child, with ADHD-style behavior. Something came up before I had a chance to ask more about the difference between the two kinds of doctors.

It crept up on us.. probably began when DD first saw a skateboarder on one of those wide walkways in town.. then some nitwit wizzing around the park on one of those mini-motorbike-thingies.. finally a neighbour's car parked on the pavement for an afternoon of Chips-Away[tm].
