7th grade woes31 Oct 2005 21:11 GMT3
My 12 year old is getting poor grades in school because she doesn't turn in
her homework (class work and tests are fine).  The homework organization has
been an issue since forever, and we've tried everything.  Any suggestions?
behavioralist or neurologist for a preschooler?31 Oct 2005 15:03 GMT18
My three-year-old son's doctor recommends that he see a specialist to
figure out just what's going on -- he's a textbook "spirited" child,
with ADHD-style behavior. Something came up before I had a chance to ask
more about the difference between the two kinds of doctors.
Pavement Paranioa30 Oct 2005 18:58 GMT5
It crept up on us.. probably began when DD first saw a skateboarder on
one of those wide walkways in town.. then some nitwit wizzing around the
park on one of those mini-motorbike-thingies.. finally a neighbour's car
parked on the pavement for an afternoon of Chips-Away[tm].
Ceramic Floors and the Crawler30 Oct 2005 10:40 GMT34
The person that decided that ceramic floor are the new "in" thing in

just started crawling this week.  We have a lot of ceramic floors on
the main floor.  She's still unstable when she goes from the crawling
A modest proposal30 Oct 2005 00:05 GMT2
Why not make it the standard for the moth-- er, Custodial Parent -- to
be awarded *100%* of the NCP's earnings, then at give back a percentage
of the earnings at her (um, I mean HIS OR HER) discretion?
This works perfectly.  The CP knows that if the NCP hasn't got enough

13 y.o. girl - bday party ideas?29 Oct 2005 23:01 GMT4
Yes, this is kinda last minute, but due to nutty schedules the date
creeped up on us while we weren't looking. :-)
DD's 13th bday is in a week. Looked at the calendar and realized that
next Saturday night is the best & only date to have a bday party for

Trying to buy school clothes28 Oct 2005 22:13 GMT10
Arhhhh
DD starts in January and trying to find her a navy dress is proving
impossible. Thank heavens I bought some other items in the summer (even tho
January seemed a million miles away then) as there is so little around now
Did Governor Schwarzenegger write me back?28 Oct 2005 21:52 GMT10
I sent him a fax and letter and he wrote me back, or was this an auto
response?

Thank you for taking the time to send me your kind words of support.

MEDICAL DOCTOR STATES EMPHATICALLY: "BIRD FLU EPIDEMIC IS A HOAX"
EXPOSES SHODDY SCIENCE AND OUTRIGHT LYING BY OFFICIALS!
Once again, the American people are being pelted with deliberate lies to

My baby(close to one year) is used to being rocked to sleep and daily
