Tommie some tips on dealing with Roger01 Aug 2006 00:04 GMT14
Take this from someone that has a ton of Roger type people constantly on my
butt.
Tommie I find no hard evidence to indicate Roger is nothing but an Atheist
or an Agnostic. In that event I do not think its wise to attack and bash him
Stupid or dyslexic ... really, which is worse?31 Jul 2006 19:37 GMT14
Our daughter (aged 12) has performed very poorly in her Year 7 exams.  We've
had a word with the school, who claim they have tested her for dyslexia and
found that she isn't ... but they point out that some pupils are not
dyslexic, just "academically weak" (ie. stupid).

Booster?? Is that the answer to my problem31 Jul 2006 18:09 GMT5
Hi! My baby girl is 11 months old and extremely hyperactive. She sits
in her high chair for 2-5 mins and then manages to wriggle out of it
however tightly I may strap her on. To my dismay she fell off the high
chair yesterday while I just turned my back to get her food. Should I

So the situation is that my 23 yo is renting an in-law apartment from
us.  So far, it's working well:  we visit each other, but also respect
each other's space.  Her kitty likes visiting us, too, which is nice.
(There's an entry that both our house and her apartment share, and ...

Groundings31 Jul 2006 01:42 GMT14
We have a 16 year old daughter and live in the UK.  We usually ground
her for a weekend.  How long do other parents ground for?  My wife
tends to make it a short sharp shock by assigning an essay to be
completed over the weekend.
Opinions Please Re: IUD vs. TL30 Jul 2006 16:47 GMT6
I'm a mom to two boys ages 4 and 1. DH and I are 99% positive we don't want
any more children.  I went to see OB/GYN about possibly getting a tubal done
(DH doesn't want a vasectomy and I'm not going to push it).  She gave me
pros and cons and also threw out a few other options, ...
"For External Use Only"30 Jul 2006 12:02 GMT3
If it says for external use only, but nothing about actually eating it, is
it alright to have a little (or huge) taste of it??
Lovely DD (will be 1 next Friday), while alone in the kitchen with the baby
gates up and me in the hallway directly beside the kitchen moving the
Collectibles - what should parents do?30 Jul 2006 06:16 GMT10
When people give gifts such as collectible coins or rare coins to a
young child, what should be done with them? Should the parents put them
away until the child is old enough to understand that they're for
collecting and not spending? Then let the child decide what to do with
Hilary Duff: I never said I'm a virgin!30 Jul 2006 03:00 GMT3
http://thebosh.com/archives/2006/07/hilary_duff_denies_virgin_claims.php
When 20-year-old Hilary Duff announced that she was still a virgin in
a recent interview with Elle magazine, many people were shocked.
Though the actress has a squeaky-clean image, she also dates Joel
They sleep!29 Jul 2006 19:47 GMT4
Does anyone here remember my long, pitiful, whiny posts about my problems
with my kids and sleep?  ;-)  It was probably 5-6 years ago and I'd post
every few months for 3 years or so, lol.  I prayed for sleepers the next
time.  Guess what - I got them!!!  Brock and Ben sleep ...
Quite the event last night...29 Jul 2006 08:36 GMT9
How would you deal with this kind of a situation?
First off, I know my son is so very far from a perfect, ideal, angel of a
child.  I'd say he's your average 5 and a half year old, no better, but
definitely no worse, than the average kid his age.
Hey Little Tommie you still reading free.christians?29 Jul 2006 03:20 GMT11
Tommie you still reading free.Christians?
Or is Roger on your butt again? Its sick that a 40+ year old man would be
stalking someone under 18.  Have you turned Roger into the authorities?
SAHM? (and dads, of course!)29 Jul 2006 01:10 GMT70
For those who might be around both, I had posted a little while ago about
having some sort of help around the house as far as daily life goes (ie,
putting dirty dishes in the sink, picking up dirty laundry, toys, etc.) and
that doesn't seem to be helping.
