How to handle whining and crying?20 Sep 2006 12:27 GMT18

My 4.5 year old daughter is really turning into a whiner.  The cries or
whines constantly, WHENEVER she doesn't get her way.  It has gotten a

of plastic and foam and fabric into a landfill.

Are swimming lessons ok at 3 - 4 years?18 Sep 2006 11:52 GMT7
DD has just started Kindergarten. She'll be 4 at the end of September.

Sports and music lessons17 Sep 2006 14:01 GMT35
I know its different for every family, but I'm curious.  Do you think
it is reasonable for a kid to commit to both a sport *and* learning a
musical instrument?  I never did any competitive sports while growing
up, so it's hard for me to compare.  But, I did have assorted
