We had a major tantrum out of DS (3.75) this morning, over wanting to help
daddy at work, when we probed further as to why this was so important, he
said he wanted to help earn pennies. We've always given earning pennies as
the reason why Daddy has to go out to work, so he can ...
Preparing a toddler for a wedding?16 Mar 2007 15:34 GMT14
My brother is getting married this summer, and my SIL to be has decided she
wants my 2 yr old DD to be the flower girl. DD's enjoyed shopping for her
"princess dress" and looking at the dresses at the bridal store, so I'm at
least somewhat positive, but I'm not sure what I should be ...
DeClutter Your Home16 Mar 2007 14:12 GMT2
You open your door to a neighbor or friend. She walks in your home.
Here and there during your conversation, she casually looks around and
takes in the state of your home.
If your home is in great shape, you feel fine. You feel proud. But if
Opinions16 Mar 2007 11:46 GMT46
I'm still relatively new to this website and thus far am enjoying it. It's

vice versa. There is one thing that bothers me. Why is it that when people
are giving their opinion and/or advice name calling and ...

I'm driving down the street in my nissan maxima with my wife and baby
behind me in the rear passenger seat.  My wife was holding the baby in
the back seat. (Yes, i know that's illegal, sometimes she breadfeeds
back there.)  A lady pulls along side of us and while we were both

Advice for itchy/dry/red/irritated skin after swimming or sports14 Mar 2007 21:23 GMT8
Time and time again I've heard that heaps of swimmers (and other
sports) suffer from dry / itchy / red / irritated skin after swimming
in chlorinated pools. I used to suffer from that problem for years,
and tried all sorts of things to relieve the itching. Well, I've
My fondest hope for reform ...14 Mar 2007 19:28 GMT1
Now this is what I'm talking about when I discuss CPS reform.
What do you think about CAC's?
And Greg, you may be excused if you wish, though we do value your
input, you being the chief among child and family rights advocates in
Shy teenager14 Mar 2007 16:10 GMT37
I have a 13 year old son in eigth grade who has stopped interacting
with his friends almost completely in the last 8-12 months.  I was shy
as a child, and he always has been too but he always had a few friends
that he did things with occasionally.  At times, he's had close

A little background. My son, now 6, was never into coloring and "drawing"
back when he was little. I noted it then. I notice now that he does draw and
try to express himself on paper, but his drawings are way simple and
abstract compared to his peers. He HATES writing. He is ...
