Easy to Care for Pet30 Nov 2007 20:33 GMT10
I'll state right off that I am not a pet lover.  But, my kids are
now pre-teens and still desparately want a pet.  We were at first
thinking about fish, but they aren't particularly cuddly.  It is
also complicated by the fact that dogs and cats make me sneeze.
Cough and throat issues30 Nov 2007 18:54 GMT8
It has been 2 weeks that my 3 year old daughter first got cold. It was
just cough - the hoarse barky kind but no running nose. Even now she
is having the same cough an kind of wheezing stuuffy nose. Visited her
doc two times..doc said no medications just Mucinex..but daughter
Poops are nonstop!30 Nov 2007 14:39 GMT3
My 16 MO DS started exclusively on table foods (no more baby food) last
week.  Since he started, his pooping has been out of this world!  He's going
at least 3 times per day with the consistency mostly runny.  The colors are
pretty psychedelic too!  This didn't happen with my DD. ...

How am I doing bathing my son?29 Nov 2007 17:33 GMT16
DW and I bought a fisher price tub but i didn't care for it. We used
it once.
Ever since I've been in the tub with our son. For the first 3 or 4
months he was small enough where I would lay him on top of my legs and
online gift cards29 Nov 2007 08:23 GMT25
My gran has asked if there is anywhere online she can deposit money, so
that we can then choose some gifts for the kids. I'm guessing that the
only mechanism for doing something like this would be to purchase a gift
card to an online store, which is something we're unfamiliar ...
My kid hates going to school!29 Nov 2007 07:54 GMT9
We have a son 5 years old. He has been in school since he was two
years. His first school was a traditional one. Although he has had
good relation with his classmates, he always found it boring.
Everytime we had to drop him off at the school, he threw a big

Does anyone know what that is?
Some teenage black kid wanted me to buy one for him.  He told me it
wasn't alcohol, but he didn't have his ID.

IQ and what it means in adulthood25 Nov 2007 10:59 GMT89
Does anyone know of any good articles/studies on how well IQ scores in
childhood correlate with success in adulthood, given all the inherent
inaccuracies of the tests?  I realise this is a pretty broad topic, but
I know there are some well-informed people here, and the subject ...
Car Seat in Taxi from Boston Logan Airport?24 Nov 2007 22:51 GMT6
Hi - we'll be flying into Boston's Logan Airport with our 2 year old
daughter and 4 year old son.  Our son has a booster seat, which is
rarely a problem in a taxi, but we are concerned about our daughter's
car seat.  I've been in a lot of taxi cabs where they are not equipped
