Preparing sibling for birth process?30 Apr 2008 22:04 GMT211
We'd like to have the option of having the Bug (4.5 y/o) present at
the birth when the little dude is born.  My mother, who is very
involved in her life, would be at the hospital as the designated Bug
manager so that they can go in and out of the room as seems
The spam on this board is out of control!!!29 Apr 2008 15:58 GMT10
I just spent a few minutes reporting some of the spammers on this
board... not sure if it will do any good.   Is there anything else
besides reporting it that can be done?
Toddler meltdown29 Apr 2008 15:43 GMT5
My son is 19 months old and spends 3-4 days a week in daycare.  I work
full time and his dad works a rotating shift, so he's home with our
son some days during the week. On the days he's at daycare, he's
unfortunately there for 10 hours, which is obviously a really long day

about "bitching"28 Apr 2008 13:54 GMT64
'at odds about discipline' was a pretty good thread, and Vickie seems
to be on a better track, but there is this issue about BITCHING that I
find interesting.  Lots of different opinions.

Cradle plans27 Apr 2008 22:33 GMT2
There are lots of cradle plans available on the
internet, but I am looking for one type in particular.
I  remember that once upon a time there were
plans available for a 'double rocking cradle'.  That's

How does relocation affect payments?27 Apr 2008 04:13 GMT2
I pay child support on my own with no involvment of the courts, but I
suspect that at anytime, the CP can decide to take me to court since
she has made the threat several times for things such as me mailing
her a check as oppsoed to depositing it into her account and for

co-sleeping is "bad"25 Apr 2008 19:00 GMT14
There is a huge movement these days in my community to make parents aware of
how dangerous co-sleeping is. Apparantly there is a larger than usual number
of babies suffocating from being in bed with their parents. Because of this,
there are alot of outraged parents saying things ...
Your Children don't deserve Divorce25 Apr 2008 15:34 GMT1
Many of the problems you may be facing could be just the tip of the
iceberg on what is really happening in your marriage.  I don't mean
to scare you, but many problems, when they either first show up or if
they keep reoccurring could be just what's showing from a larger
Broken arm (Yr2)25 Apr 2008 09:25 GMT4
My 7 year old (Yr 2) broke her lower arm during the Easter holidays.
Unfortunately it's the arm she would write with.
She had to have an operation (under GA) to wire the bones, and we've
been advised by the hospital not to allow her to run around in the
Are My Step Daughter's Bad Habits Normal? Please help!25 Apr 2008 03:30 GMT19
I would be MOST greatful if someone can help me with an ongoing and
often heated debate about my step daughter's (age 9) bad habits.
She's constantly putting her fingers in her face, month etc..
scratching from the nose down and often has a lot of dirt built up
baby burp problems24 Apr 2008 20:58 GMT12
We have a nearly 3 month old baby (just shy of 13oz.) at home that
REFUSES to burp.  It does not matter if he's breatfeeding or using the
bottle, the same issue persists.  While using the bottle (Dr. Brown
with level 2 nipple), he starts to squirm after 1oz of milk.  We
