I just want to see if anyone here has the the "Single Mom's Survival
Guide". It seems filled with great information that will give me a
great read tonight (including a full chapter on child support issues)
Anyone else buy it? Its only $7.95.

bath mat for 1 year old ?18 May 2008 19:01 GMT17
We bathe our DS in an infaltable tub that we put inside the tub.
I think he's old enough for the regular tub, but once I start to wash
him with soap, the tub gets slippery and he slides all over.
Should I get some kind of non-slip bath mat?

My 1 year old and books16 May 2008 18:07 GMT3
So .. ever since he's been in the womb, I would read to him. We read
to him whenever. He likes opening books and turning the pages. He
seems to enjoy opening and closing and turning pages more than opening
and looking at pictures.
Do you step in with kids you don't know?16 May 2008 07:18 GMT15
When my oldest was about 3, I had his carseat in the front passenger
side of my van for a few days.  My husband was away, and he liked it
up front.  My van was older and didn't have an airbag.  I met a friend
at an ice-cream shop one evening, and after I parked, a man came up to

Has your DS or DD ever do a face plant ?15 May 2008 23:06 GMT7
So DW was upstairs yesterday morning getting ready for work, I'm
getting his meals ready for daycare, DS is crawling around the tile
floor in the kitchen playing with a pack of Tic Tac breathmints.
Next to our little island on the floor is a box of cupcake bakeware.
I sure do wish Wiki had a Wiki lite for kids15 May 2008 21:00 GMT3
My nephew frequently asks over my head questions.
I help him Google it and we usually end up at Wikipedia.
I sure do wish Wiki had a "for kids" section.
TO ALL DEADBEATS OUT THERE!15 May 2008 20:22 GMT55
Your economic stimulus payment WILL be intercepted for back child support!
Thank GOD the Federal  Government can do what the deadbeats refuse to do.
Support their kids.
bio-degradable diapers15 May 2008 11:29 GMT2
Does anyone know of any bio-degradable disposable diapers on the
market? This is for a 3.5 yo for night time use. So I don't know how
effective cloth diapers would be.
Changing ... (confessions of a parent)15 May 2008 02:05 GMT16
Once, when my oldest was about 2, we were at a family cottage with a
bunch of family.  I slept late, and when I woke up and looked for my
son, an aunt said, "Oh, Ben's fine... he's already eating breakfast."
I found him on the porch eating a bowl of Apple Jacks, and I
