OK, friend of the family planted a bug in my ear saying that Whole

DD1 (5yo) has been reading and writing for a while. She's a phonetic
reader. She reads complicated words and she can figure out even though
the words don't follow phonics. The issue is when she writes. She
strictly writes based on how the word sounds. While she can write long

What's everyone's opinion as far as giving a 1 year old cupcakes,
cake, and other sweet baked goods? I'd like to start baking things

Almost 20% of American children are overweight. This is such a sad
epidemic, as children we didn't have all the computer equipment and
video games available to us. We actually went outside and played. But
computer equipment isn't the only problem.
