Ericka wins the cupie doll, I think. And Chookie was it you who asked about
mental stimulation? I think the former change, no screen in the pm, has had
the desired effect! We also have been doing more hands on activities that
challenge the mind. Maybe more fun in the day is ...

So...what do you think?29 Jul 2008 13:19 GMT14
We all have big decisions to make come November with the elections.
Whatever the outcome, it will affect our kids and grandkids for years
to come.  It will be they, who will be going to war.
Who do you think will be the best President to lead us in the years to
Signing28 Jul 2008 22:49 GMT2
#3 decided today that he'd start signing (milk). He's gone from 1-2 daytime
feeds to about every half an hour. Now I'm thirsty...
and  I must make sure no one teaches him to sign "chocolate", that was a big
mistake with #2. Any idea for the sign for "healthy foods" anyone?

I am a 20yr old mother of a 2 1/2 yr old daughter named Arianna.  Her
father was diagnosed with Psychosis (borderline paranoid schitzophrenia)
early on in my pregnancy. Needless to say, her father is a little out of
his mind right now, and he is incarcerated.  Although it is obvious ...

son is often tired26 Jul 2008 17:32 GMT29
My son is very often tired. I am a firm believer in the importance of sleep!
I think the main problem is that his mind is always thinking and moving. He
has a hard time stilling his mind. He will lay awake in bed playing in his
head all sorts of pretend games.
Driving in the car with Grandma26 Jul 2008 15:42 GMT660
My DIL won't let me take my grandaughter on any outings in my car.  It
can't be because of my driving. I have never had a moving vehile
accident, and I've been driving for over 40 years.   My granddaughter
will be 1 year old in August.  DIL just now is feeling more

eyelash23 Jul 2008 07:44 GMT14
My 4yo daughter has very shortened eyelashes. My MIL first noticed it. My
MIL and FIL then proceeded to question (maybe grill?) her about it. She told
them a bunch of stuff, none of it sounds terribly real. MIL and FIL are
convinced that they were cut. (That is scary to me that ...
Resources Run Short For Gifted Students23 Jul 2008 05:16 GMT25
In view of the fact that "quality education" existed when there were
no programs for "gifted students," I do not see how the current state
of pseudo-education in the U.S. is related to a lack of resources for
"gifted students."
