soft cheese?28 Jul 2003 22:36 GMT4
I know I'm not supposed to eat soft cheese whilst pregnant but is Feta
cheese considered to be soft cheese?
Very Little/No Movement?28 Jul 2003 22:33 GMT7
I'm in my 23rd week and for the last few  weeks have felt the baby lightly
thudding inside my belly after dinner whilst lounging in bed for a bit.  Had a
very succesful 20 week sonogram and everything was "perfect" according to the
doctors.  My placenta is low at the moment but ...

Summer Heat28 Jul 2003 14:29 GMT4
Ugh. I hate to complain, but it is MISERABLE here! Since we have cool
weather 9 months of the year here, no one seems to have air conditioning.
Not only that, but the windows in these houses tend to open sideways, making
the installation of a window unit difficult PLUS the houses ...
why is left best?28 Jul 2003 12:21 GMT2
Does anyone know why it is preferable for a baby to be lying on the left
side rather than the right.  This one seems to definitely prefer my right
side and appears to be trying to get his bum wedged under my right ribs as
we speak , ouch ouch!
Chest cold27 Jul 2003 22:23 GMT1
Hey all...
I am now 16 weeks pregnant.  I have a bad chest cold with lots of
coughing.  A couple of weeks ago I had a head cold.  I hate being sick
and pregnant.
Baby is not a fan of Terminator 327 Jul 2003 04:27 GMT4
Went to see T3 this weekend and my wife said she felt the baby moving
all over the place during the movie (it was very very loud and lots of
bass). Either the kid loved the movie or hated it. She felt the baby
movie the other night during a loud thunder storm. Must be the loud
Holy smokes, anyone experienced this?27 Jul 2003 03:27 GMT3
I was just reading an article on BabyCenter.com. (I am goofing off at
work. Don't tell.) I just saw this sentence.
... "pre-term labor with minimal or no uterine contractions" ...
as a risk factor in determining incompentent cervix. See whole article
31 week report & a positioning question  26 Jul 2003 20:07 GMT11
Yesterday I had another fairly uneventful appointment at my birth center.
Starting now, I'm on a every-two-weeks appointment schedule. Too weird! I
still can't get over being in the 30's now!
Reinforcing why I like this birth center so much, this appt. I didn't even
Bells Palsy26 Jul 2003 17:20 GMT6
My wife gave birth to our daughter 5 days ago and started showing
signs of Bells Palsy 3 days later. The right side of her face is
somewhat paralyzed (i.e., her eye doesn't close or blink, the right
side of her mouth doesn't move). Her doctor says that it should start
Another odd breast question..26 Jul 2003 13:33 GMT3
That is a question about odd breasts, not an odd question about
breasts ;)
I'm 20 weeks pregnant (with #1) and, frankly, find my breasts a little
strange this am. From about implantation I had the normal tender
Mitch and boan.25 Jul 2003 21:00 GMT12
I am officially tired of being pregnant now.
No matter how I sit, if I sit - on a chair with my back straight, in a
kneeling 'ergonomic' chair, on the birth ball, cross-legged on the
floor...doesn't matter, when I stand up, I feel this gawdawful pressure on
Online Photo Albums25 Jul 2003 18:32 GMT3
I want to share some photos with you all and some friends and family but
need to find a free online photo album to do this.
Can anyone recommend one?
I have got one on Yahoo but you have to pay if you want other people to see
38 weeks and counting!25 Jul 2003 17:51 GMT9
I went in to see the midwife for my weekly update today.  In some ways it
was good, but I am feeling somewhat disappointed that labour hasn't happened
yet.  I know that there is no way to predict when it will happen.  However,
when I lost my mucous plug last Monday I was sure that ...
