washing cloth diapers24 Jul 2003 02:46 GMT3
I am a new mom of a 6-week-old baby. I just start using cloth diapers from
disposables. I need some advice about that:
1. can I wash the cloth diapers with other baby clothes?
2. for dirty diaper, after wash away the poop, should I soak diapers with
post caesarian bathing??23 Jul 2003 23:47 GMT3
Hi again.
I hope everyone's doing well out there!
A question:  My sister had a caesarian 2 weeks ago and is dying to get into
the bathtub for a soak...  Has enough time passed for it to be ok?
Claudia's heart surgery23 Jul 2003 22:52 GMT8
I posted a few weeks ago that my 4yo daughter had been scheduled for heart
surgery on 6/25 and that it had been postponed.  Well, they did the surgery
yesterday and she was moved out of the PICU this morning, a little more than
24 hours after the surgery (probably would have been ...
High White Blood Cell Count?23 Jul 2003 21:40 GMT6
I'm a nervous wreck.  I'm 33 weeks and a month ago I had a routine CBC
test.  After the test, the doctor's office called to say I had a high
white blood cell count and they were going to re-do the test at my
next visit.  Well, my next visit was yesterday and I just found out
32 week update23 Jul 2003 16:00 GMT1
Well, I'm back after a great week and a half on and by the ocean. We
sailed to the rental cottage and did not stop for the night - a mistake!
Sailing by full moon *was* romantic, but not sleeping at all wasn't. DD
slept but woke up cranky and seasick, and soon the crew was in ...
32w5d appt23 Jul 2003 15:06 GMT3
Everything's fine although I did narrowly miss a trip to L&D. His heart
rate was steady in the 180's when my midwife checked. Too high.
She had me drink a bunch of water and sit in the waiting room for a bit
then check his heart rate again and then take a quicky look with the
Stefan's Birth Story (VERY VERY LONG)23 Jul 2003 08:21 GMT12
I'm sorry it took me so long to write it (it's been almost 2 months).
Short version:

30 week update23 Jul 2003 04:24 GMT2
Hello! We've been away again and mean to go off tomorrow until the 21st,
so this is just a quick update. I'm feeling really guilty about not
having time to reply to any of the threads, but it can't be helped. But
I just have to say congratulations to Ericka for the birth of ...
My poor breasts23 Jul 2003 03:03 GMT2
I'm five months pregnant now and as every mother-to-be I've read all the
books about what's gonna happend to me during those nine months. Everybody
knows that increasing breasts are one of the earlier pregnancy syndroms. But
in my case it was quite different. I hadn't significant ...
Predicting Ovulation23 Jul 2003 03:00 GMT2
Hi...another post on behalf of my low-tech wife:
My husband & I have been trying to get pregnant
for the last 6 months. I got off the birth control
pill in Jan'03 and we started trying since then. Since then,
Belly pix!23 Jul 2003 02:21 GMT8
I haven't been around for the past few days, because I had company in town
for our baby showers this past Saturday (which were very nice by the way--I
felt so special & honored!). Anyway, I'm still not posting much because two
of my sibs are still here. However, I did get to finish ...
numb...23 Jul 2003 01:26 GMT9
My wife is 50.  I'm 52.  We've been happily married for 31 years and
have six "kids" aged 30, 28, 27, and 22 year old twins. (Finally we're
on our own again! More travel! More eating out!  More time for romance
and relaxing by the pool!!)
Newbie dad to be23 Jul 2003 00:50 GMT14
Been lurking since finding out my wife is pregnant with our first.
EDD is 3-14(pi day).  So far this has been an informative and
interesting group(aside from the inordinate amount of trolls on this
group).
size of baby dependent on food intake?23 Jul 2003 00:35 GMT5
I am curious.  I was just looking at the belly pix from Em, and I noticed
she is/was a lot bigger than me at 19 weeks.  I am just that now and I can
still hide my belly.  The sono doc didnt think I was pregnant and was
shocked to see the baby was the correct size, he said the size ...
A few random questions...23 Jul 2003 00:22 GMT9
I have a couple of fairly unrelated questions & I thought I'd finally just
lump them together in one post :-)
First, I have heard from a few people that it is a nice idea to "tip" one's
doula after the birth. I have heard of people doing that by just adding
