Ok, another name poll :)22 Jul 2003 23:04 GMT25
We have our boy name picked but we are undecided on a girl name. We have our
top 2 choices and we cannot seem to pick one over the other. We've basically
decided to wait and see what she looks like (if she turns out to be a she)
and go from there. But since Cheryl just started a ...

Did you have any indication that labour was iminent?22 Jul 2003 22:22 GMT12
I have been very curious about this since my spotting a few days ago.  I
know that I may yet go until my due date, but everyone (including my
midwife) thinks I will go into labour early.  Since there is no way of
knowing, I just thought I'd poll to see what different people's ...

Well, after looking through the messages I thought I'd post and say hello
(waves) I'm due August 23rd with #2 (DD is 3) and I'm wondering 2 things...
is it normal for child #1 to become completely unmanageable around this
time? Or is it just the "terrible 3's" (which I've always ...
Ultrasound -28 weeks  & update22 Jul 2003 21:59 GMT5
I had the ultrasound today - I had one two weeks ago but the ob/gyn said she
wanted to do another one because the baby was moving so much and she had a
lot of patients that day and so couldn't spend her usual 20 minutes at it.
Well, everything is fine :-)

CTTS-mentorship in the womb22 Jul 2003 21:50 GMT1
I've been lurking here that last few months (and read here
8 years ago when I had baby 1).
Today my DH was poking my belly trying to get the baby to
move around when DD(7) came over and said to the belly,
Bored bored bored22 Jul 2003 21:50 GMT2
After the false alarm of yesterday I wasn't too hopeful that things
would get moving today, so I didn't pay too much attention to
contractions every half hour.  When they increased to every 15 minutes
we began to get a little excited.

Childcare options from 6 months22 Jul 2003 20:29 GMT2
I will need to return to work when my baby is about 6 months old. I'm not
sure what childcare options are "best" for my baby at that age. I might be
able to get away with working about 3-4 days a week (depending on what we
feel we can afford at the time).
Introduction - in TTW phase!22 Jul 2003 20:04 GMT6
Hello - I thought I would introduce myself, as I have been reading this
newsgroup for about a month now.  My husband and I recently decided to
start trying to conceive our first child, and this month is the first
time we have tried ... right now I am 3 days past ovulation (as far as ...

Help for hemorrhoids?22 Jul 2003 19:49 GMT5
Oh dearie me, do I have 'em.  I'm using a 1% cortisone foam they gave me
when I was in the hospital, plus Gold Bond cream or powder, depending, and
things seem to be getting worse, not better. I've resorted to witch hazel
pads, but I don't think they're helping either.
