Hi, does anyone have anything bad (or good, but I am more interested

I am in my 40th week of my preg. it's my first baby. i have no sign of any
sort of pains or show or waters broke etc.,  can I start walking etc., to

Thrilled to announce the safe arrival of our beautiful baby girl,
Elizabeth Rose, who came into the world on Thursday 7th at 12.20pm,
weighing in at 7lb9oz. She is completely adorable and an angel for her
mummy.

For those that have had a section, what type of medication did you use i.e.
spinal, epidural, etc.? I am now scheduled for my section on the 18th and
hopefully I will make it that long. My previa is causing problems now and
I'm in preterm labor. I originally wanted a spinal but now ...

Just a little update and possibly venting.  AF finally came yesterday, this
cycle turned out to be 34 days.  Of course DH and I baby danced 5 days
before and 3 days after ovulation.  We got so busy we missed the damn day we

I went in last week for my first u/s.  Since I am not having an amnio or AFP
test - and I'm 37, they always give me a level II ultrasound.
The doctor wants me back at 22 weeks to better see the 4 chambers of the
heart -- and also to check marginal previa (to see if it moved up).

Well, 40 weeks today and only really irregular contractions.  Ive been
having about 2 hours worth a day.  REALLY bad mentstrul cramps that radiate
down my hips and leggs.
The baby isnt moving around nearly as much as he usually does so Im hoping

July 28th saw the birth of Sam Michael.

(Just for the record, when the books say 'labour is unmistakeable' and ' you
will *know* you are in labour', they lie!.)

How are all the newborns managing in this heat? As I am due in a couple of
weeks i would appreciate any tips anyone has. I'm assuming that they won't
need vests in this weather :)
