Do small women have more problems?04 Aug 2003 22:13 GMT6
Excuse me for being ignorant, but do small women have more
complications during pregnancy than large women? I don't mean
overweight women. I'm talking about height. I would think that a woman
who is 5 ft. 10 inches would have a much easier delivery than a woman

pregnancy test04 Aug 2003 20:38 GMT3
Hey, just one last question.   How early is too early to take a pregnancy
test?  I know they say wait til the day your missed AF but what about 3-4
days prior?  Could it result in false negatives because it was to soon?
Still anxiously waiting.

Is my son behind?04 Aug 2003 16:17 GMT7
I noticed some posts about toddlers at the age of 1 being able to read and
such.  I am concerned about my toddler who is 2.  He really cannot speak
that well, and speaks in fragments such as "go out", or "go bath" etc etc.
He can understand us to an extent.  He doenst read but I ...
Rhiannon's tale04 Aug 2003 10:47 GMT3
There are sometimes comments here that the birthing stories all come
from the mothers. Very rarely do us blokes open up and narrate our side
of things.  It was a long couple of days. So this is a long post.

Educated women more likely to have C-sections?04 Aug 2003 08:03 GMT33
Asking for opinions on this for a friend...she is pregnant with baby

she came across a statement that women who are college educated or
higher are more likely to have C-sections.  This statement surprised us

Kind of OT - Birthcontrol after babies04 Aug 2003 02:34 GMT8
I have had two kids and don't plan to have any others but I don't want
to have my tubes tied. I can't get a lot of information from my ob/gyn
about birthcontrols. She recommended IUD but I researched that and
chose to wait until I find out more about my options because I am not

Feeding problems - a bit long02 Aug 2003 22:20 GMT3
You may remember I told you about our new addition, Aeryn.  Well, after a
grand total of two days at home, she ended up on the children's ward with a
drip.  :-(  She wasn't feeding, and when I freaked and rang the Midwife Led
Unit for help, they said take her in.  The paediatrician ...
HMO and Midwife02 Aug 2003 19:11 GMT1
My wife and I (and the one on its way) need your help.
The first child for my wife and I was born under the care of midwives.
And the cost was covered by insurance.
And it was simple and direct and efficient and cheap.
