I was confirmed 5 weeks pregnant last week. During my first visit to the doctor's office, the doctor just did the pregnancy test, check my blood pressure and weight. She precribed 1mg folic acid and prenatal vitamins.

...and Gwendolyn has finally arrived. At 7:16 am on Tuesday, July 29, by VBA2C! She weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and is 20" long. Birth story to follow when my sitter-downer isn't so very sore (bad tear, lots of stitches.) --angela

Before becoming pregnant, I was able to take any sort of horse pills, without even needing any liquid. Well, that's changed in a big way. It's not just the prenatal vitamins that won't go down. I can't even swallow the folic acid, which is a small, odorless tablet.

I am an extremely impatient person, so the fact that DH and I have not come up with more than one possible name for our little DD is getting to be a big frustration for me. DD#2 is due in about six weeks, so I know we still have time, but again, I am very impatient.
