Expired pregnancy tests?29 Aug 2003 22:14 GMT2
I was looking for something in the linen closet today and dug up some old
pregnancy tests that I had forgotten about.  I think with both of my
previous pregnancies, I had bought a double pack and only ended up needing
to use one test so the other got stuck in the closet and ...
36 weeks!29 Aug 2003 21:01 GMT12
I reached the 36 week mark yesterday and had an appointment at the birth
center in the morning! I'm excited because now I am "clear" to deliver in
the birth center at any time. I'm also happy because my GBS swab came back
negative. That, and getting past the premature baby point, ...
Few questions about feeding solids29 Aug 2003 19:37 GMT6
Dd is 4 1/2 months and I started feeding her solids a few days ago.  I
didn't plan on starting until she was 6 months old but she suddenly
started crying at the dinner table and all I could put it down to was
that she wanted some food too.  She began aiming towards the food with

Hello,
I am about a month pregnant with my second child. During my first
pregnancy, I gained a lot of weight and have been trying to get it off
for some time now, without much success. I seem to keep falling off

Ques for those with TWINS29 Aug 2003 14:20 GMT2
I am 3 weeks along (from conception.) Due to a history of ectopics, the Dr.
ultraounded me today and we saw TWO sacs.....also, the pregnancy stick test
was very strong in color, something I haven't seen before (4 PGs, 1 child
living.)
Bradley vs. Lamaze?29 Aug 2003 12:33 GMT14
Even though this is my second pregnancy, I am new to the labour game.  I
knew I was going to have a c-section with the twins (due to
presentation) so I didn't really pay all that much attention to how to
go through labour on the one-evening course I took.
Another cloth nappy (diaper) questions29 Aug 2003 09:09 GMT1
Hello all...
I have been looking into buying cloth nappies for baby #2.  I have
found some, but it seems that my searches are everywhere.  I am
looking for fitted type nappies.
Recovery time for c-section29 Aug 2003 08:57 GMT19
I'm not sure if I will be having a c-section, but know it is a strong
possibility. I've had 3 vaginal births and recall the recovery time.
I've also had 3 abdominal srgeries in the past and recall somewhat
recovery time. For those who have had a c-section, How long did it take

on such a public forum.
C- Section question29 Aug 2003 03:47 GMT14
I will be having a C-section, and was wondering what the average length of
stay in the hospital was.  My insurance company told me that we have an
"automatic" 4 day stay allowable for a c-sec.  Do we really stay in that
long?  I had a friend who stayed in for a week, but she got an ...
restless leg syndrome29 Aug 2003 02:54 GMT4
I used to suffer from this once in a while when I wasn't pregnant, but
now I seem to have it every night when I try to go to sleep.  I'm not
even at my 8th week yet and I'm worried that it will get even worse as
time goes on.  Does anyone else suffer from this?  Besides ...
labor is near I guess - long28 Aug 2003 23:59 GMT16
I went for my 36 week appt today. (I am really 35 weeks and some
number of days or whatever.) I am 80% effaced and 1.5cm dialated. The
doc's exact words were "well, you won't be making it to your due
date." I feel as though it is going to happen any time. Effective this
