Well I have GD, now what?  Can I avoid needless interventions?21 Aug 2003 15:29 GMT1
I failed my 3 hr GTT today.  I don't have the numbers (failed 3 out of the
4), but they will be mailed to me so I should have them by Monday.  I see a
diabetic clinic at one of the local hospitals sometime this week.
I haven't been able to find a lot of specific info about GD.  I ...

Hoping there's another short woman out there driving a

I'm at 34 weeks, and right now I've got about 1.5in of room

4-5cm dilated20 Aug 2003 21:20 GMT6
On my last exam the doc said I was 4-5 cm dilated.  My doctor told me at my
visit on Tuesday 12th that I would not make it to my due date (9/2/03).  I
got a call that same day saying that my urine had tested positive for
proteins & my blood pressure was elevated - a sign of ...

Ok we do not have coverage yet for dental so unfortunately I cannot go to
the dentist for a cleaning yet. We have emergency programs in the area but
not for cleanings. My lower front gums have been swelling. I have tried what
my doctor has said to try and it isn't working. I am ...

Well, Dh's mother passed away early this AM, and baby is to be induced

into worrying :( ). So now, the dilema is whether it is ok ...
29 week update20 Aug 2003 13:29 GMT2
Doesn't time fly! This would have been a 28 week update, but I was on
holiday at the time, so we moved the midwife appointment a week later. This
meant going to the sister surgery (my GP runs two surgeries in neighbouring
villages, and a midwife does one Thursday in one surgery and ...
Listeria Hysteria 20 Aug 2003 13:12 GMT1
I have seen a lot of posts lately about Listeria. There is a ton of
information out there on the net if you look for it but here is a summary of
what I have found. Keep in mind I am an environmental health student so
interested in communicable disease but NO EXPERT. I will include ...
First prenatal appt yesterday20 Aug 2003 02:43 GMT5
Had my first prenatal visit yesterdat. I wasn't too impressed with the
nurse practitioner I saw and won't go to any great lengths to have any
more appointments with her (or to avoid her--she wasn't *that* bad). I
didn't get an ultrasound, but she did palpate my uterus and said that

Had a checkup yesterday morning and am now on an every week schedule of
appointments. Everything was well. Baby was still in an ...
