Tips/tricks for first time moms:  Add your suggestions!18 Sep 2003 22:23 GMT33
Was just thinking of things related to a first baby from birth to three months;
things I'd heard from my mom or friends, things I just somehow thought would
work, things I've learned the hard way, and things I wish I'd known sooner.  If
a list like this has been done before, I ...
Artificial Sweetners/Ketosis/and GD?18 Sep 2003 22:04 GMT3
Just got back from the first of two required classes for my recently diagnosed
gestational diabetes.  Tonight's class was with the high risk pregnancy
diabetes dietician.  I really loved her visual teaching style and easy-going,
non-alarmist attitude.

Hello everyone!  I have read this newsgroup for many years and gained

Strange belly sounds...18 Sep 2003 16:57 GMT10
I've heard a strange sound coming from my bump, sounds like a bone
clicking. Both DH and DD have heard it to different degrees.
Anyone heard of this before?
Anything to worry about?
# of ultrasounds--question18 Sep 2003 16:37 GMT40
I'm 35 weeks pregnant and have only had 2 ultrasounds.  The first was
at 10 weeks and the second at 18 weeks.  I've been asking my OB about
another, but she won't request one unless she feels it medically
necessary.

follow up!18 Sep 2003 15:31 GMT2
Well this afternoon I had some bleeding that scared me.  It was bright red
and more than I expected.  I went to the ER.  The doc said everything looked
fine and my cervix is closed.  Then she explained to me what I would expect
with a mc.  Now I'm just to rest and take it very easy. ...
Kind of a post baby question18 Sep 2003 12:44 GMT11
Well haven't posted for a while but I'm now over 15 weeks and things are
still going well.  I realise this is not really a pregnancy question, more
of a post pregnancy one but figured everyone would have views on this. We're
starting to consider stocking up for our impending arrival ...
spotting18 Sep 2003 07:45 GMT9
Well I had some spotting today.  I called my doctor and she had me get
another lab test for the hcg level.  I'll know the results tomorrow.   I'm
pretty scared though.   The receptionist didn't make a big deal out of it.
She just told me that if I have bad cramping and heavy ...
